Gadget clinic and coffee morning

Drop in to our Barbican gadget clinic on the first Wednesday of every month to get answers to all those techy questions … or just for a chat.

With volunteers from the Barbican Centre’s technical team, we hope to be able to solve all your problems. Simply bring your phone or tablet along.

The drop-in is held from 10.30-11.30 in the ground floor foyer of the Barbican Centre, next to the free stage. It also includes a £3 hot drink and pastry deal.

Improve your IT skills and troubleshoot at one of our Techy Tea Parties!

We know that many older people computer_learningare clued up and online – but everyone needs a little help once in a while.

That’s why we run our programme of Techy Tea Parties – a chance for you to get one to one support with your phone, tablet or any other piece of Tech.

Techy Tea Parties are hosted by our Corporate partners, whose helpful staff will be on hand to answer any questions you might have, no matter how basic. Refreshments are provided, so all you have to bring is your phone, tablet or iPad.

Or, if you are thinking about getting one, come along and try before you buy.

Due to the nature of the events, we can’t always schedule dates and venues far in advance. If you would like to be advised of any upcoming Techy Tea Parties, please contact Alice to add your details to the mailing list.

Email or call 020 7091 2593.

IT champions

Did you know we have IT volunteers who can meet you one to one, in either Barbican Library or another community venue, to advise on any IT issues you may have? Whether you want to get to grips with Skype, manage your privacy settings or simply get some guidance on how to use your new smartphone, they will do their very best to help you. Contact Alice on the details above.
