Age Concern City of London, in partnership with Age UK East London, are now offering a Befriending service to older City residents.

Age UK East London have a long track record of successfully running Befriending across Tower Hamlets and Newham.

They will work closely with Age Concern City of London with our local community knowledge, ensuring recipients of the service benefit from access to our combined resources, such as Home Help, advocacy support, digital inclusion, film club, trips and outings, exercise classes and our walking group.

If you, or someone you know, would like to be visited by a Befriender, please get in touch with Philip Adams on philip.adams@ageukeastlondon.org.uk or 020 8981 7124.

We are also recruiting new Volunteer Befrienders now! To find out more, please contact Sharon Waddams on 020 8981 7124 or Sharon.waddams@ageukeastlondon.org.uk.
